Instagram Hashtags for Modeling: Attract Brands & Boost Engagement

Fostering opportunities to work with the brands you love can be an exciting endeavor that requires a strategic approach and thoughtful execution.

Remember, building relationships and fostering opportunities with your favorite brands takes time and persistence. Be patient and consistent in your efforts, and continue to refine your content creation skills and brand presence. By demonstrating your passion, authenticity, and value, you can increase your chances of forging successful partnerships with the brands you love.

And yes, if your Instagram page does not currently reflect the brand you love, I’m here to help! As your gurl, I can provide guidance on optimizing your page, curating content that aligns with the brand’s image, and developing a cohesive brand presence that resonates with potential collaborators. Together, we can work on showcasing your unique style and attracting the attention of the brands you aspire to work with.

Danni’s Rules!

1. Research relevant hashtags:
Research and identify relevant hashtags that are used by the brands that you love and that are popular in your niche. This will increase your chances of being discovered by the brands.

2. Use brand-specific hashtags:
Many brands create their own hashtags to promote their products or services. Use these hashtags in your posts to show your support for the brand and increase your chances of being noticed by them (I’ll show you how to find them in the example below).

3. Create high-quality content:
Use your creativity and unique style to create high-quality content that showcases the brand’s products or services. Make sure to tag the brand and use relevant hashtags in your post, so that their followers and the brand can see your content.

4. Engage with the brand and their followers:
Engage with the brand by following, commenting on their posts, tagging them in your stories, and responding to their comments on your posts. This will help you build a relationship with the brand and their followers.

5. Be consistent:
Consistency is key when using hashtags to work with brands on Instagram. Create a content schedule and stick to it, using relevant hashtags in all of your posts to increase your visibility on the platform. By modeling how to use hashtags to work with brands you love on Instagram, you can help others successfully collaborate with their favorite brands and grow their audience on the platform.

Example:

We will use the Philadelphia Brand Streetwear meets luxury: Milano Di Rouge

Step 1: Search the brand page and follow them. (Rule 4. Engage, show your support).

Step 2: Second click on the Brand’s following.
Step 3: Then click on hashtags (see image below).
DISCLAIMER: This hashtag find seems to ONLY work on the browser and not the Instagram app.

Danni’s Strategy
As a model how to cater to the
Milano Di Rouge’s brand. I will create a post (Rule 3. High-quality content) similar to their style or you can wear their fashions and tag them @MilanoDiRouge (Rule 4. Engagement) and (Rule 2. Brand-specific hashtags) use all of their hashtags, as we can see currently they only have one.

#spottedinmilano

Another example is the New York brand and American fashion house for underwear and luxury goods: Calvin Klein

Danni’s Strategy
As a model, how to cater to Calvin Klein, create an underwear shoot or underwear reel. (Rule 3. High-quality content) and tag them (Rule 4. Engagement) as well as use their hashtag under your post

#mycalvins

Danni’s Bonus Tip: A brand can have other multiple branches of lines such as NIKE (See example 1. below) while this NIKE account doesn’t have hashtags another NIKE branch, NIKE SB does have hashtags (See example 2. below).

Example 1.

Example 2.

Pay attention to the brand’s other multiple branches by doing a quick search on Google.

Does [Brand] have multiple brands (See Example 1. below)

Those multiple branches hashtags can all be searched on Instagram and added to your upcoming targeted Nike brand post as a model.

Lastly, after posting and engaging with your followers, reach out to the brand via email (How to find Brand’s email) or Instagram DM (You can even send the recent picture you posted targeting the brand).
